A Cinema That Pedals

ROUTE NOTES, v3 (v1 and v2 got rained on)

7.40pm. Testing Grounds. Projector strapped to the bike. Battery says 80%. Battery is a liar.

8.05. First wall, a loading dock near Southbank. Too shiny. The image slides off it like an egg off teflon. Next.

8.20. Under the railway bridge. A train goes over and the whole picture shivers. Fix the wobble. The wobble definately stays. The wobble is the point.

8.45. Films from Osaka arriving in Melbourne at pedalling speed. I think a city is mostly made of surfaces waiting for someone to say something to them.

9.30. Possum on the powerline. Not impressed. Possum has seen better cinema.

Note to self for next time: ride slower. Everything good happened when we stopped.
